When Coaching was not a profession

When Coaching was not a profession, and 360 degree appraisals not invented yet...

Year 1997 ~ The first 4 days of April

So young then... I am having a chance to look into myself, growing up.

Slowly...

Feels good; so be grateful...

4 days in a row, together with Ken & Ros Camsey. Fantastic people...

Iktisat Bank; A Great School.

Prior to being assigned to a managerial post, they are teaching us how we shall manage a team. And off you go; become a manager. Good for you...

Having managed a team for a year or so, we are facing the truth; our team fills out an anonymous survey on how we manage them. 360 degree appraisals, not invented yet. Oh yes, it is better to be slapped by the truth than kissed with a lie. We come down to our senses. Bravo...

We are learning to manage people as their coach, and yet coaching is not a profession and yet it is not included in the Turkish language as being a Ram...

Time will crawl, and we shall get to see...

For learning to hold effective meetings, our meeting simulation is being videotaped, and then we get to watch what we have "accomplished". Eeek, is that really me!?! Oh yes, video; such a nice tool, isn't it?

Iktisat Bank was a great place to strive for your potential and thrive.

Our talents were constantly challenged and back then we were all in the Flow.

.....

And today, set out for our journey, we know we have got a long distance to cover.

With an appetite for construction and hunger for learning, we are meandering in our own riverbed.

Just like Meandros.

Slowly...

Feels good; so be grateful... (:
